New Officers for COMBE 2004

New officers elected to serve the Conference of Mississippi Baptist Evangelists (COMBE) for 2004 include R.C. Bryan from Cedarbluff MS who will serve as secretary/treasurer. Bryan was named for this position by our outgoing president Charles Smith. At last year's annual meeting, we voted to allow the outgoing president to name the secretary/treasurer for the upcoming year. Dr. Don Boone, pastor of First Baptist Church Louisville, was elected to serve as our pastor advisor. These officers were announced at the annual winter meeting of COMBE held during the 2004 state evangelism conference at Country Woods Baptist Church in Byram January 26-27. Our bylaws call for the secretary treasurer to move up to the office of vice president and for the vice president to take the office of president, so Steve and Becky Carver (secretary/treasurer for 2003) will now serve as our vice president and Don Taylor (vice president for 2003) will serve as this year's president.
